In these thread sketches I explore the female form and psyche to depict life as I experience it. I aim to portray emotion, character and atmosphere and to convey a sense of a woman's inner landscape and her connection to herself and her environment.
Each thread sketch is individually made by hand using freehand machine embroidery with pre-loved fabrics, calico and linen. These designs are available to order in a variety of sizes and fabrics.
